Odyssea Publishing was established in May 2006. Its Mission Statement: "To bring high-quality Dutch poker books to a growing Dutch poker audience." Its first publication was called Poker Unlimited: Handboek No Limit Hold'em, which is currently in its third printing. With the publication of its second book, Poker Voor Meisjes (Poker For Girls), Odyssea has again shown itself to be an avant-gardist when it comes to Dutch card game literature - indeed, card game literature in general.
